I want to see an 80 year old drive a CTS-V.
The cutch is heavy and first gear can be a pain to get into at times.
Not a great car for a senior citizen to drive around in.
I am not doubting the story, but I would like to see it done.

Yeah it’s not a V but it’s just a 04 cts.
The Italian family on the other hand… One of the kids has 64 Impala with caddy badges on it tho. It’s all candy apple on air bags with a big block. Drug money??

I always had a soft spot for the styling on the CTS-V… But i would never consider getting one as a DD.

BMW will always be the benchmark, because it HAS ALWAYS BEEN the benchmark. THE MOST IMPORTANT factor is that when you hit main street, the M5 will drop more panties than soulja boy performing at decatur high school’s senior prom, whereas the caddy just picks up the fatties… ask mike, it is VERY POSSIBLE his M5 has gotten him laid, whereas if he owned a caddy, he would see less punani than a man searching [muslimina.com](http://muslimina.com)

Just out of curiosity, where is all this “proof” that the -V hasn’t attained M5 levels yet? Just curious as you keep saying it is so clear, but I don’t see any proof.

that’s about what I would expect… it all makes sense… I would be curious to compare the lease residuals of this vs an M5… when they match is when the caddy has caught the bimmer.

The M5 is absolute garbage… and why do you feel that way?
I think a 5L 500hp engine is pretty fucking awesome already. Being that it was introduced in 2005 I think its impressive that it took until 2009 for cadillac to have a competitor for it.

Impressive?
Cadillac is known for old people and comfy seats.
I would say it was impressive if it took Audi or MB 4 years to catch up, but we are talking about a Cadillac, made by sub par union ran auto manufacturer called GM.
I am impressed that it can even find it’s way to the track.

Both are good cars. Theres a reason the redesign was based of the M5, cause the M5 kicks ass. And being based off something that kicks ass, automatically makes it kick ass.
Each will draw its own crowd.

2007 CTS-V with polished supersharger, nitrous, massive amounts of other shits, 34,000km’s, lowered, wheels, silvier colour… sold for $35k cdn. today at auction.
2005 CTS-V’s are under $30k steady…
That’s actually pretty wicked… you’ll be able to grab a decent one for under $20k next year… model-out of course.

Yea I have been watching them and have seen a few nice ones in the high 20s. When they start coming in around 20K that would be a sweet daily for the price.
