Hey fellas, my dad just did the cash for junkers program and got a new 2009 Honda Civic DX (Only had to pay 10k for it out of his own pocket). The DX he got did not come with a radio. He will be picking the car up this weekend but I was wondering if anyone has a link or a site that gives a break down on how to install a CD player. I have not looked at it yet but I dont want a monster of a project or have to take apart the whole dash. Its prewired so he is going to buy a nice CD player and I am going to install it for him. Thanks for any info. ---

dont most places install for free with purchase of cd/radio ---

If your DX already pre-wired with speakers and whatnot, why not simply get the whole OEM audio unit from ebay and slam it in? Ditto on the antenna adaptor. I think you’re going to need it.
