did you go to the SCCA auto X’s? A JBP 04 sounds familiar…

I was not there, this will be my first year in Auto-X, I just bought her in August and my first car was a N/A 96 Coupe. Great car and all, but the power obviously was no where to be found. Actually, come to think of it there was no correlation between it and power.
225/45/17’s
Back ordered nearly everyone, but I have my connections here and there. Actually, tirerack had them but they were from shitzville and they wanted $70 shipping, so instead I look towards Cali O\_o

hahaha nice. you’ll love auto X.
i had 245/45/18 Dunlop SP Sport MAXX’s on my stock 18x8 wheels over the summer, LOVED them. the star specs are better in every way except treadwear and comfort, from what i’ve heard, so if you like auto X i’m sure you’ll love that kind of a tire. my next tires will be either the star specs or the falken azenis rt-615’s.
if you’re not in it for looks, 245/45/18 worked great on my 18x8’s, some people even do 255/40/18 but i think that’s overkill.
here’s a pic of my 245’s on my 8" wide wheel (it does look pretty goofy, but i loved the way it drove with those tires)
also, check out the mo-hud SCCA website, their first auto X is april 26th, i’ll be there as will 5+ others from shift

Lol. My #4 run was my fastest…something like 1:20.1. That was with a late shift into 1st on lap 1 coming back into the oval, missed 2nd gear in turn 3 on the 2nd lap, then not shifting back into 1st coming back into the oval again. It was a MESS lol. That was with my old sohc that I just sold. I have a slightly better motor this year so the extra p0w3rz and better driving will help me.
