Also heard today there would be discounted season passes so I am possibly going just for that.

There’s a huge discount show at the Hamburg Fairgrounds this weekend too if that’s closer for you.

I’m going to go and see if I can find a pair of gloves I like; it’s the only thing I need this year. Maybe find a setup for my girl.

They don’t sell aprons and oven mits at these things though?

If you bought them new/used at a shop, they should’ve taken care of that before they gave them to you. If you got them used from a show or private party, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to take them to a shop for a quick tuneup (Grind & wax).

You can wax your own skis if you have the equipment; and the equipment is \<$20 to do it. There’s plenty of info online of how to do this. The grinding of the edges is best left to someone who knows what they’re doing and has the right equipment.

Personally, I wax my board about every 3-4 times out, and take a file to clean up any damaged/dinged spots on the edges. I got my board last year and haven’t gotten it ground yet (don’t plan to for a while either), but I don’t play in the park. Edges should only be ground if they’re in really dull/rough shape otherwise its just a waste of material.

yeah i bought them new, but not from a shop locally. ill probably do it myself, thanks for the info!

edit: seems they are already waxed, but ill do it again anyways
