Weird. Just read in car and driver that there’s a tube that runs from the intake to the passenger compartment with a “sound tuned membrane” that permits certain sounds to pass but no airflow… Weird. ---

As much as I don’t blame them because Ford V8’s sound so sexy, that could be the ultimate ricer mod. ---

my jeep had a similar system to this. I just called it no dash and drain holes in the floor. ---

If you were to modify the tube so that It would allow flow, could you gain power from driving with a “methane rich” passenger compartment? ---

They should have just put the intake in the dash. That would be awesome! Well, besides the issues it would cause… But seriously, if youre aggressively accelerating and you cant hear your V8 rumble, why bother? ---
