i have the shift torque ones. my friend tom who i bought them from was wearing his other pair of the same jeans when he went down and they only tore slightly. not sure how that compares to regular jeans, but they’re definitely thicker than normal jeans. and they also aren’t too hot. ---

I had to run to redbox and met a friend down the street. I was out last night in a hoodie and shorts. It’s nice to be out sometimes in that but the back of my head always is that fear of skidding with bare skin. I make sure I don’t go anywhere that would add to the numerous threats already out there or do any heavy cornering. ---

I like how people “make fun of you” for wearing full gear lol. A kid yesterday said to me “why are you wearing all that stuff?” (we were going on like an hour-2hour ride… at night) I responded with “Lets play a game called dump your bike at 70mph and lets see who wins” , he didn’t say anything lol. ---

I need riding pants. I found a nice parking lot with some decent curves that I can practice on. I wanna snap some pictures of me cornering and check out my body position and really wanna get riding pants and frame sliders before I start messing with it too much. ---
