The Boss 302 will definitely be real nice! The Laguna Seca edition will be the one to have, but won’t be that much cheaper than the Shelby GT500. It will have a lot of GT500 parts, but a lot of unique features to lighten it up…no back seat and unique body cross brace where the back seat would be. Should be a pretty quick car on the track.

Id like to see which ever magazine it was do a retest against the M3. The standard '11 GT came damn close to beating the M3 in its own world the Boss should definetly get the job done and for a fraction of the price.

Road and Track says that the wheels were off of the GT500 and that their goal was the M3. I think there were other parts from the GT500, but I don’t have the article in front of me. They weren’t going to make it unless it could beat the M3 around Laguna Seca…I’m sure there will be a track test in R&T once it is released. Should be interesting!

If it outperforms the M3 in basically everyway I dont see why anyone would rather have the M3 besides subjective reasons or just to have the BMW badge.

I’d rather have the M3. It’d attract girls with all of their teeth.
But really, I just prefer the looks of the M3. It’d give me way more internet cred on cool car forums too.
