Horrible website and lacking in details but so far I have read $50 membership fee and $200 event fee. Old DHL airfield in Southwest Ohio. Interesting. I think I’m too cheap to pay $250 to stand on it for a mile though. Based on this quick youtube search I’d guess my GTO would hit between 140 and 145. Not sure it’s worth $250 just to see a speed I’ve done illegally before. If I had something stupid fast like some of you 600+ whp guys it would be a different story. ---

Just an FYI, ECTA rules are pretty strict. I have a rule book somewhere around here, fire suppression, 10 point cage needed for anything over 150 IIRC. Single chute for anything over 175, and then a crazy amount of shit for anything over 190. I’d love to go run one of these… but now that I’ve gone to a 4 speed box it doesn’t really make sense. ---

So you get one run and kicked out? I know I need more than a mile to hit top speed of 190+, but I’m sure I would break 150. ---

I copied this from another forum to give you a idea what is needed and this is just to go over 135 lol. “To go over 135mph you need Rollbar, 5 point harness, driving suit at least a sfi/5 with gloves helmet boots etc. fixed back racing seat or hans, battery quick disconnect and an sfi approved scattersheild for the flywheel housing. This is what I have that others who are faster probably dont. I run the car at SCCA Time Trials, this was something I always wanted to do.” ---

that sucks, they don’t have different rules for stock vs modified do they?? I should be able to hit around 175 bone stock
