This just in all full size cars are heavy now a days
However I would really be surprised if its over 4000lbs like BigRon said.
Since they did say “To match that acceleration, the Chevy SS also benefits from a sports-tuned chassis, including stiff suspension with MacPherson struts up front and a multilink, independent setup in the rear. The car also comes with electronic power steering, tuned for sporty handling, a near-ideal 50/50 weight distribution and lightweight aluminum used for the hood and rear deck lid to help shed the pound”
Seems if they went through the trouble of 50/50 weight distro it might not be a tank

I hope that isn’t true for that price its in the range of a lot of very nice euros.
GM fucked up it wasn’t that long ago base Formulas/Camaro 1998-2002 could be had bran new for 21-22k
