> Looks like you’ll be able to buy these too is you so desire:

> it will cost you $22,995 on top of the price you pay for the car itself. As for the “aero” part of the AeroWagon, Callaway has previously stated that it hopes to give its mechanically modified version of the C7 the best fuel economy in the supercar segment while allowing the car to still hit speeds of more than 200 miles per hour.

Also, a stock one just ran a 12.23 at 114.88 mph, guessing someone will sneak a 11.99 in stock form

> **[First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88...](https://www.autoblog.com/2013/10/01/first-corvette-c7-stingray-drag-race-video/)**
>
> Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass...

The gauge cluster has like a mixed look to me. the rpm looks great and matches the exterior in how futuristic the car looks but the mph, fuel etc looks typical cheap GM from a 98 jimmy.

Its nice to hear all the car enthusiast that have normally talked so much shit about Corvette actually talking highly about them and how they are now on the ride path with this car. I’m curious to see what happens with the future of this car and the next step they take to better it.

> The Guy In Charge Of The C7 Corvette’s Design Made The Pontiac Aztek.

> The man responsible for the design team for the new Corvette Stingray is none other than Tom Peters.

> GM would probably like to point out that Peters designed the classically pretty, understated C6 Corvette. I would like to point out that Peters was the Chief Designer for the Pontiac Aztek.

> The Aztek was derided as the ugliest car on sale from the moment it came on the market, and it’s remains a regular feature on ‘ugliest cars of all time’ lists, along with ‘worst cars of all time’ lists, too.

> Ever since the first design drawings leaked out, the world has gone nuts over the 2014 Corvette looking more angular, outlandish, and (dare I say it) ugly than its predecessor. Well, the same guy responsible for the C7's design knows a thing or two...

Well that explains the rear end of it. C7 face lift is definitely going to change that, there isn’t any doubt.

I really miss pop up headlights… call me a fool but the smooth lines when they are down are so nice.

I LOVE the C6 design, its very classy. The new C7 still hasn’t grown on me, but maybe when the Zo6/7/10,000 comes out maybe it’ll look better?

Best quote

I saw that on Jalopnik and looked up the VIN. The blue numbered car they mention is one of the premiere editions. They are only producing 500 of those. They only made them in laguna blue with brownstone interior and some carbon bits. I think you get a luggage set as well. Doesn’t surprise me that a dealership would try to get more for one of those but I think the other one that have is just a normal z51.

And it shows how stupid people are as there are premiers on the Corvette forum selling at sticker and have been for a few weeks.

This is why sometimes I look back at Tesla and love the fact they don’t sell through dealers. You don’t deal with the mark up bullshit dealers try to pull on cars like this.

The trade off being you wait months and months to get your car

By _“get your car”_ you meant _“get whatever the dealership has on the lot or access to at the time you go there”_ otherwise you’re still going to wait months for exactly the car you want to be built.

It’s supply and demand

Pay XYX dealer more money for the car now vs waiting months for Tesla to build your car.
