Yeah, when you automatically search “300 miles” on autotrader you know The Buffalo market SUCKS. ---

I am spending this year grabbing investments, but I am seriously interested in potentially grabbing a McLaren MP4-12c or potentially a 458 Italia if they depreciate sub $175k anytime soon (good luck on that one for a clean example) within the next 12 to 18 months. The Buffalo Auto Show is nice for my wife to go shop for a Q5 for when VW nukes out her TDI in the impending future, but not nice to go get a closer look at anything lower production. ---

If each manufacturer had their top of the line vehicle there or maybe there were some higher end makes on the floor I’d check it out. But as it stands there are maybe 1 or 2 cars there that I actually care for. ---

I spoke with a 13 year old who went. He summed it up great - “There was a Corvette, Evora, GT3 & a BMW i8…the rest was a kinda boring.” ---

I was there last year and almost all of the full-size trucks were loaded. Silverado High Country, GMC Denali, Toyota 1794, etc ---

They had some loaded up whips…the one that surprised me…a $37k+ Ford Escape. NO WAY IN HELL would I put down almost 40 gs for a damn Escape. An ESCAPE! ---
