Flip flops and no helmet? That’s just asking for it Sucks to see another rider down though EDIT: Mom is pushing for a manditary helmet law, not something i don’t agree with but don’t blame the law for your daughter being an idiot. I wouldnt even wear flip flops on a BMX bike when I grew up… thats straight stupid on a bike… not to mention its gotta hurt the top of your toes on up shifts! fell and got hit by an SUV? what would a helmet do for ya at that point??? never the less it sucks. RIP to her… but no remorse from me for poor decisions. ---

While a helmet may not be able to save her 100%, but it sure helps by a large margin. ---

A helmet probably wouldn’t have saved her in this case, but 9 times out of 10 it’ll save your life I am taking a ride up thru Connecticut this weekend and a couple of my friends are excited about being able to ride without their helmets when we reach the border. I think they’re crazy lol ---
