Seriously, I’m considering one for a DD once I see how it works out for some of the early swappers. To make it fully CA legal and get it smogged reffed I need to see if I can fit stock exhaust manifolds (or shorty-headers carrying a CARB EO #) with stock cats in the stock position. On my buddy’s FD that is fully CA legit the cats are actually slightly relocated, but the ref didn’t notice. It’s just “safer” to have them 100% stock position. Also, I’d need the Camaro fuel pump assembly in the tank, Camaro EVAP, Camaro AIR system, etc. (no EGR cuz I’ll have my PCM flashed as '01 or '02). I see running S14s in “decent” condition under $3k here all the time. Idealy I’d find a roller w/ a blown KA for even cheaper, or maybe the same price but w/ a nice body/interior and maybe susp. mods. -TJ ---
