# 240SX Driver Side Power Window

On my S13 the drivers side power window wont go up or down. The passeger side works fine, using either the passenger side or the driver side controls. I bought a new switch and wired it up but it still didnt work. The power window amplifier will click when you push the control to go up but is completely silent when pushed to go down.
Any ideas??

motor is burnt out probably…

The regulator (thats what its called, right? Just doesn’t sound right…) is probably the culprit. The little plastic pulleys can break. That’s what happened to mine. Pull the door panel off, pull the window out and then pull the regulator out.

If it was the plastic pulleys, wouldnt you hear the motor turning?

If the motors do burn out can you still get them at the dealership? Or some other place?

Faulty switch may need some replacement, or the motor just some kind of minor electronics issue can even be a DIY job
