Notice all the D1/FD/USD/etc cars are ridiculously well taken care of and start off each round in near mint condition. Broken aero is fixed, dents are pulled, body panels are replaced and so on. Doesn’t that seem like a contradiction? I crash more than the dudes in D1 do, I’m not as good as them. But doesn’t the principal of having a car devoted to drifting have the same premise?
