Correct, the 2500 is only towards the 3 models listed. Anything else we’ll probably give you nothing for your car and help you into something else.
If you want the 2500 it can be anything that runs and drives to the dealership, titled in your name, and we’ll give you the 2500.
Remember, Malibu, Cruze, and Impala that applies too. Also you may have any rebates on the vehicles in addition to the 2500, so it can add up to more if the vehicle has rebates attached as well.

I remember when a friend of mine bought his first new car, an Acura TSX. He drove in with a 300k mile Camry that was just beat to hell and probably not even safe to still have on the road. They gave hime $100 **to keep the car** and told him (in the nicest way possible) that they didn’t want to deal with scrapping it. I think he ended up selling it for $200.

Was it with us? If not he should buy it back for 200 and bring it on in! and try to beat our best beater! I’ll be posting that one tomorrow or the day after.

Well don’t get me wrong we’d give you something if it was worth something on another vehicle, just not as much as the deal we’re offering now.
So say that dodge up there fetched 5600 for it’s fair market resale value, well in it’s current state which is obviously poor condition we might only give you say 1.5k at best just theoretically speaking.
So with the 3 models listed at least we’re waiving that and giving these people MORE than their car is worth. Plus it’s a great way to get the crap off the streets and get newer stuff that is more eco friendly out there as well. All in all everyone wins. Us, you, and captain planet.

I know how it all works 🙂 just stating the fact that most dealers wouldn’t be as up front about how it all goes down. the shadiness from some is what gives others a bad name

I gotta say, if you had a trade-in that’s only worth a few hundred bucks, a $2500 trade-in allowance on a Cruze is pretty damn good. Especially a base model.

I’ve said this before on here about Basil dealerships (I’ve bought used at 2 if not 3 of them over the years)…
They have always made good on any issue I had and I never felt overly pressured or pushed around. Both bullet points are rare in car dealerships…especially used. If I was in the market for new or used I wouldn’t hesitate to go through any Basil dealership. 🙂
In comparison…West Herr can EAD if you ask me. I bought a lemon from them and they failed to make good on ANYTHING. In fact the GM talked down to me and likened my $20k vehicle purchase to that of a faulty VCR he bought at Rosa’s. As I said…EAD! 😉
