I thought the fine was up to $10,000? and seriously, when someone is travelling that fast, sure they are acting dangerously, but the cop that persues them isn’t? When I got pulled up doing 170+, I asked the officer how fast he was going to catch me, and he got really pissed, as though he posses no risk to other drivers ---

yeah the fine is upto10000 but usually they dont even fine u minimum. ---

Its his job. And then you put even more people at risk having 2 cars flying at that speed. Also once again the Max fine is 2000 because he was charged with stunting not street racing. ---

It’s not the speed that’s dangerous dumbass… It’s the speed differential. The fact that you’re moving 130km/h faster than everyone else around you. If people were doing 30km/h, 150 would be just as dangerous as this. Think before you fucking post. ---

he DOES face 2-10k in fines, stunt driving is an umbrella term, if you get charged with stunting the cop can choose why, for example stunting by way of racing, or stunting by way of excessive speed… ---

Your best bet is your eyes and ears, it’s just a tool. Of course it’s illegal in Canada. Like you said best to go on track. ---

Well no, Pete’s right, the fact that he was going 250 and everyone was was 100+ less than him means that if one guy decides to change lanes into his lane then the guy would eat shit almost instantly. im pretty sure he wasnt doubting the guy’s ability to handle so much as the conditions around him would have posed more danger than anything to him and everyone else.
