People are already posting that teachers should have guns on them.
If anything, any class room where students of any age are in, should be fitted with some sort of bulletproof glass and metal with lock. After all of these school shootings you think someone would make a move by now with making more steps to protect children.

my girl is a teacher and i guarantee she would have no problem arming herself to protect students if this was an option. locked doors and armed guards should also be an option.

I wouldnt see an issue putting a program into play to arm teachers and certify them etc. but then you run into the issue of " what if the wrong student jumps a 60 year old 2nd grade teacher, takes her gun and shoots everyone". Just to many variables. The bulletproof doors and glass in doors would be a good start id say. I remember doing lock down drills and being told to get against the wall same side as the door.

I hope that there are hundreds of pissed off citizens right now, taking their hunting rifles and ATV’s out right now, looking for this other guy (if there is one).
Sorry to say it but this country needs a fucking eye opener, unfortunately the first eye is open after seeing what unfolded. The next better be some arm’d citizen finding, wounding & incapacitating the other person at large and bringing them in strapped bleeding all over their Yamaha Grizzly’s front rack, and bringing that asshole into custody.

the what happens if’s, IMO are much better odds than the only card being dealt now is “I hope nobody decides to open fire on defenseless people today”
