Didn’t check the link, but if it’s the one I’m thinking of, there was a lot of hate on the ls1 boards for it. I think it’s sweet, personally, but so much room for hate ---

That’s incredibly gangster. At the same time, the hate it got from domestic guys is living proof that they’re way bigger ricers than import guys. If you can’t appreciate a well built car, regardless of what path they chose to take, you’re a ricer. ---

If you can’t appreciate a well built car, regardless of what path they chose to take, you’re a ricer. couldn’t agree more. it’s like somebody building a clean, well built 240 or RX-7 with an american V8 in it. the purists go ape-shit with the flames and the “WHY???”, when they should still be able to appreciate it for the fact that it’s still a fast, well-built car, and should definitely appreciate it for the fact that it’s unique. come to think of it, RX-7 purists go ape-shit if you put ANYTHING other than a rotary in an RX-7…i mean yeah rotaries can be sick motors but christ, even american made V8’s are more reliable (albeit a shit-load heavier). bottom line: appreciate it for what it IS, and not what it “SHOULD BE”. ---

Yea, on that same note, I LOVE V8 RX-7s, and if I were to buy an FD, it would definitely get LSx swapped. No hate for the rotary or anything like that, but I just don’t have the time or patience to take proper care of it. ---
