buddy of mine has a chance to get a MINT condition 88 300zx for a good price.
we were wondering if the SR20DET is a possible swap…
If it is then it looks like he may buy it and hybrid may be getting some business.
if someone from hybrid reads this PM me a price (we need Swap/Engine/ manual trans)

Ls1 IMO
The Vg30dett motor is stout but heavy as fuck.
The rb20/25/26det/tt are expensive
The vq35/45de arent worth it.
Or you could try to find a VH45DE from an early Infiniti Q45.

rb20 is less than ($1500 motor set) a sr20 and if you get a s14 sr20 youll pay just as much as for a rb25 ($2000ish)

of course an LS1 would be the ideal swap… but seems like more of a hassle…
unless someone can do it for a good price…

please thats a bare min motor… don’t forget the actual cost of additional parts just to get the car running… rb20 4-5k 25 5-7k If done properly… Then add up parts if you want to bring it away from stock, its just a retarded amount of $$…
check around [hybridz.org](http://hybridz.org), give you some good ideas and info. It all really depends on your budget.
