> well in regards to a 240 motor are u saying a red top? or…i would say i would be looking for more acceleration along with drift possibilities…what would a rough idea for a swap be…or would that be dependent on the motor…also…how would i get rid of a my vq?

I know this has been beat by other people, but…
The SR will not give you more acceleration. It’s a smaller motor and takes a lot more to get to the power that a VQ can. If you really want, paint the valve covers on your VQ red… hahaha
If I’m not mistaken it will not give you more drift possibilities. The SR in the 350Z brings it to a close 50/50 weight distribution. I believe that makes the car harder to drift.
The cost of a swap is dependent on the motor.

Everyone is offering to take the VQ off your hands for free, but why not make some money? I’ll give you $10 for it. hahaha

Terry the final drive on the stock TT 300ZX is 3.69
The final drive on my car is 4.08. I wish Pete were in my car on a real nice day when the Detonation sensor wasn’t going off so he could feel the REAL pull. Blah… there’s always next year :R
