yea theres a substation for the sheriffs in colden… on the 240… tapped my helmet to show newman where it was… forgot he didnt have radar… as for everyone behind newman i dont know what signals you guys in cars can use to signal the person behind you that there is a cop ahead… maybe tap brakes… FOR THOSE WHO DIDNT KNOW… tap helmet = cop ahead… i need to get the new windscreen so i can wire in my radar detector… to bad i wont be able to hear it on the bike… ANYBODY???. think you can make the radar detector LOUDER??? ---

DO YOU THINK… i could piggy back off of the detector… a female headphone jack that i could mount on the detector that i could plug into when using the bike and unplug when not on the bike/? that may be a good idea…? but is it feasible… it would need to be able to unplug… ---

so make a plug in and wire it into the speaker too, then you can easily unplug and plug it into ur handsfree and still keep the speaker…best i can think of ---

for the v1 they have a helmet mounted LED… but its an additional like 100 bucks … it works on the escort too… hmmm maybe wiring in an external non - permanent speaker to the bike would be easy enough to do… i could plug my ipod into it to… 🙂 anybody know of a cheap speaker that would be louder than the on that came in the radar detector that wouldnt require and outside power supply? ---
