My evo Should be in there because the value of the car surpasses yours by about $30k even with that ridiculous paint job, not to mention I see about 30-50 escorts a day on the road. How many Evo’s do you see there sir a day? BTW when I enter I see a sign that says “Imports.” That doesn’t mean you qualify because you have Japanese parts from the factory. I wouldnt say its the value of the car that should make it part of the show. If I bought a new escalade it would cost more than your evo, but its just not going to be something people want to look at. Furthermore unless the evo is modded its not very rare around here so why would I want to see it in a show? If it has work done to it then yeah I want to see it.
I guess its hard to draw the line who should be able to get into these cruise nights. There are two types of people in the “tuner” crowd imho, those that more concerned with performance and cleanlyness of their vechicles and those that are into the I.C.E. and less about whats under the hood.
I think you should have a substantial amount of work done to the car to show it in any car show that is worth attending. This is very objective which makes it difficult to even try to sort one from the other so every piece gets in. I would say if you dont have 10K into your car in mods you dont get in. That would keep most of the crap out.

^^ I agree with you both 100%, I have work done to my car, but its nothing your going to see at a show, but the car looks even better at S&R cruise night because of whats there. I have a minial amount of work done thats visible (I’ve taken the car and basically turned it into an MR on the outside) but at the same time I work hard to keep the car on the road let alone mod it and when someone else can enjoy it at a show filled with gayness, I’m happy too.
