its roughly 2.25-2.5 times the diagnol size of the TV

and I am so sick of people name dropping 1080P on there new tvs, its a waste of money and will not be usefull for the next 5 years, and by then it will be out dated

and if I hear one more person blah blah blah about everything looking good in 1080i i am going to shank a bitch

TV’s bought now will be outdated by the time 1080p becomes a true industry standard, i mean shit 720P is finally became a standard

Just because the PS3 will be able to broadcast in 1080P does not the the data will be actually 1080P, not 480P upscaled, like most blu-ray and HDDVD. 1080P is a waste of money and will be for 5 years untill it is worked out and becomes an industry standard

Full tilt (16:9) the display is 61".
In (4:3) the display is ~51".

Let’s see… the closest seat in the house is now @ **10’** to eye level.
The couch seating is **10’ to 14’** to eye leve
The love seat (favorite seat) is **16’** to eye level

The collective opinion of the internets, as powerful as it is, has yet to materialize any ill effects… I think We might’ve noticed it after a 12 hour stretch of football on sunday. :gotme:
