True I hear that. I love the fast spool and low end grunt the K04 in my ms3 gives. Totally runs out of steam at 6k though even with a tune removing the boost cut. But since it spools and brings on the torque at around 2500 RPM’s it doesn’t really bother me. It’s great for daily driving. ---

same with the focus st. has a k03 turbo tho. totally limits the potential of the car. BUT i do get why the ecoboost cars have such a small snail. the whole point is instant trq. great for a daily tho ---

FWIW the MS3 also has a lot of “e controls” too. It limits torque to the wheels if you get on it and the wheels aren’t straight. It has two other traction control systems (luckily these can be turned off). Then there’s the factory tune that limits boost to 8and 12 psi in 1st and 2nd. Also above 6k RPM’s the computer cuts boost although the K04 runs out of steam there anyway. ---

Ya a bigger wastegate will help a lil turbo up top I drove both and if I had to pick it would be speed 3. The st needs awd just like euro models I was messing with a ms3 since 07 too. ---
