unfortunately i believe most the track rentals are on fridays/other weekdays. saturdays and sundays are typically saved for events/t&t. once i get a list of dates available ill let you guys know. synapse will obviously toss in some prizes/awards of a sort. ---

hybrdthry911, when you know the track rental schedule post it up and we will see what day is best for everyone. Unfortunately youre in charge of track rental. If you dont want to be just PM me or otherwise you have been volun-told as we say in our great armed forces. Im not sure what to ask for concerning sponsorship money. To do it right we have to recognize our sponsorers as well. If somebody would like to do some advertising, Maybe make some sweet flyers or something, that would be awesome. Especially anyone with ties to Infamous Graphics or something. Is there anybody I can talk to about trophies? Maybe somebody who has put on a car show before? I dont know how much this cost and its one of my main concerns as far as money. Pm please Rules and prizes. I want to do a street (DOT)tire event but if thats not cool let me know. We might have to start a poll on rules and prizes. Remeber there are DOT slicks… Mike of Synapse has some… First Place- best ET Runner Up- best trap Best 60’ Fastest NA- best all motor ET Fastest RWD street tire- no DRs or slicks ET Fastest AWD street tire- no DRs or slicks ET Fastest FWD street tire- no DRs or slicks ET Best Driver- Most Consitent ET Im trying to make it so every one has something to shoot for if their car is not 600+hp caged and gutted. I want to see everyone have fun. The rules are subject to change. I also want to do a little something for people who run a near perfect 15.0, 14.0, 13.0 ect. Maybe a gift certificate or something **and its Import, Domestic, everything on 4 wheels** and some on 2 ---

Make sure you know the NHRA rules for the bracket you plan to run your car in. Faster than 11.5 you need a cage, Faster than 14.0 you need a helmet snell 00 or newer ect. Its your responsibility to run by these rules cause we wont be able to refund your money or keep you in the game if youre kicked off the track by LVD officials ---

Yeah i agree with the best bite and the best bark awards, but below 14.0 you don’t NEED a helmet, i ran 13.1 and didn’t have a helmet. ---

One week I went and the guy asked “what time are you running” I said “mid 13s” then he told me I needed a helmet if im running 13.9 or faster. but the week after I ran 13.5 all day and nobody said anything… The rules are on their site ---

Please let me know what you’re looking for from Moon and EPL and I will discuss the packages/costs with them. Also, the classes should defenitely be sorted by DOT and Slicks…from there it’s up to the powers to be imo. If it has to be a day other than Sunday please let me know asap so we can plan accordingly. I’ll put down 10 bucks that its a turbo honda that takes the big prize. What kind of prize would be in it for you… Im open to suggestions. There are not many domestic people who seem to be interested yet and I dont see a huge turnout happening especially if its a street tire event. What about fastest RWD street tire? would that intice you? The rules are subject to change by popular demand How about a displcement limit? say “Fatest NA 6.0L max” ---

they rent helmets at the track for 20 dollars fyi so that shouldnt make or break anyones plans. ---

Here is what Moon and EPL are looking for: 1. Date/Time 2. What we are looking for from them as a sponsorship package 3. What do they get with the sponsorship package 4. PM! just so I know what Im working with I really need someone who knows how to advertise as well I would love to make some Banners, flyers and so on for the event so the sponsorers are properly recognized. I want there to be trophies for the prizes and possibly some free eats for participants would be nice Im also gonna need some volunteers to keep this all running smooth. I need people to inspect vehicles and enforce rules. gather timeslips and data so we know who is getting prizes… All Volunteers will get free admission of course and free eats if available! ---

It happened to me too. You can slip under the radar when there are people running 10s in the same field. Youre not a priority at 13s lol ---

Yeah haha i had a hombre in front of me after one of my runs and he ran high 10’s and didnt have any safety equip. :lol the lady at the timeslip stand wasn’t too happy.
