I wonder why the Mustang never made the switch over to the t56?? Did they not assume ppl would try and make some decent power in the 90’s?

I guess the t5 is to mustang, what the 10 bolt is to the fbod. lol

well i do know that Ford is does put the best tranny in for the type they choose bec a Ford t5 is waaay stronger than a chevy t5( these were not even world class t5s) and a ford t56\>chevy t56 (bec of shorter input shaft and beefier output shaft) …but yes a factory sn95 t56 would of been awesome

Doesnt the 03-04 cobra come with a 10 spline input shaft?

the input shaft on the cobras is shorter than the fbodys which is why it is stronger, but both are obviously weaker than a viper input shaft

I know my tuner at RV Engines can get me everything for the swap(tranny, crossmember, bellhouseing, driveshaft etc) for ~$2600
