Plus he said it is wet sanding like a dream. It will have 5-6 layers of clear on it when he is done. It should be all buffed out today or tomorrow and we will be installing trim, parts, and the drivetrain 🙂 ---

Had it’s first buff today. Shiny Headliner goes in Friday. So on the rear tailpanel, we smoothed the lines out. Also where the rocker panels meet the rear quarters and above the trunk lid. I’ll be ordering the wheels next week. it’s going on the lift for some work. Bumper and emblems went on today. No 302? ☹ My uncle is doing a very similar resto on a '69 Z/28 (has been for years actually) and went with a 383 McQuillen build. I guess the 302 is just too much of a hassle for a car to just jump in and drive.
