Haha. Same thing. Honey, I’m going to work on the car at the shop for a few hours. I’ll eat leftovers. 😃
At least when the car is home, I’m visible to her if she needs me.

OK, paint was finished today (touch ups).
Get’s the passenger door adjusted to close nice and smooth.
Then on the lift to get the brakes bled and some tranny lines ran and linkage.
Then comes home whenever my friends have their trailer (monday or tues). Then I work on it like crazy until I have to go out fo town for 3 days for work (damn work). Then I work on it like crazy to get it started the next weekend. All it needs is some basic wiring and to fire up. Then an alignment, inspection and registration.
I’ll be calling in on some favors from some good friends on this one. It has to be done and at our car show on July 8th. 🙂

And current state of engine compartment. Needs a carp and fuel rail, some wiring, brakes to be bled and some minor stuff and fire her up

Thanks. Pulled over 3" off by getting rid of the 70’s shackles. The front end is still tight but should drop another 1/2 inch.
Once I start driving it, it will get to the right height

Got back home yesterday and started working on the car tonight.
Installed the door panels and arm rests and adjusted them so that the doors open and close. 🙂

And what’s my Camaro without one of these:D
Vinyl should give it at least 15hp more!

Just a text update, sorry no pics.
Getting REAL close now…
We were working on the wiring and it was basically a rats nest that we could have repaired, but decided to get a whole new harness for the entire engine compartment.
I should have the 800cfm carb on Wednesday. Electronic fuel pump is mounted and routed.
Driveshaft was brought back to Fleet Pride to get redone since he builder didn’t know it was going to be behind a big block. Getting it beefed up 🙂 I pick that up tomorrow.
Brakes need to be bled, nice and easy.
Fill it up with fluids and some minor assembly of engine components, and fire her up.
After we get it running good, a trip to MufflerMan to get the exhaust worked out a bit more. Then to get an alignment. Then inspection. And install a few interior components.
I can taste it now 🙂

Custom plates came in quicker than expected. Now just to finish it.
I think I dropped $800 in the last week. Thes nickel and dime shit…
Still working on the wiring. Got most of it routed. Now if family didn’t plan all these obligations, I’d have some free time to work on the car ☹
