I’m there every day (afternoon through about 7-8pm) this week if anyone is going up. Sunday, the wifey and her friend from D.C. will be there, along with a couple people from the Audi forums, if anyone wants to join up. I’m sure we’ll go early and be in the bar when it starts getting nuts with people. One of the same people from the Audi forum and I will be there all day next Monday as well to get more riding in without the chicks. Blow off day FTW. ---

Hopefully the weather stays cold the next few weeks. I am heading to Bretton Woods in NH this weekend, but when I get back I definitely want to grab another night session up! ---

I was just up there last night (thursday), and it was pretty awesome. Even got some trees in, but there was a slight film of freezing rain that was stopping the powder stashes (lol) from being really good. The regular groomer runs were nice though, with no ice. ---

Was up there last night, too, and agree, but earlier in the week was way nicer before it all packed down. Just got back now after going all day today. It started getting packed with people tonight. Front side 6-pack was stupid at times, so I ended up staying on North Face and over at lift 1. I’m going Saturday all day and Sunday A.M., but have a feeling it’s going to be a zoo. Monday, a bunch of people are off so we’re going up all day, if anyone is interested. ---

Nuthouse today. Trying for first lifts Sunday but prolly will be done by noon to catch the football games; especially if it’s as nuts as it was today. Monday will be there all day if anyone is interested. ---

So today was good. I think the cold scared people away and it wasn’t crowded. And honestly, I think riding the lifts in mid-to-high 20 degrees with the guns blowing snow is worse than single digit dry charlifts. At least I was dry and not an icicle with a layer of ice over my goggles coming off the lift today. So, about two chairs after I get off Gunnar, the lift loses power. So, I wait a few before heading back down Yodeler. It doesn’t come back on, so I head to Tahoe for a bite to eat instead. I come back out like 30 minutes later, and Gunnar still hasn’t moved. Same people were just sitting there. I start down the hill heading that way, and I see just a madhouse of people waiting in line at Gunnar. Next thing I know, they all start hoofing it to the next lift up. So I cut across at the last second and caught that lift before everyone made it up to it by foot. Gunnar has gone down for extended periods the last two days. Wonder what’s up? ---

I think I might have to head up on Tuesday, to see Be-Rads mad skillz 🙂 When are you (the pros) arriving?? I bought a $400 season pass and $190 season locker and only been up there once this year… its sad… I never neglected 7 springs so bad in my life… fucking girlfriend! ---

Definitely come out! bring some car models. Not sure what the timeline is like. I’ll prob leave work at 4 then it’s up to the others. I;ve only been to springs once as a child and have no idea how to get there and how things are run. I’ll be in all black w emerald green board, most likely plastered to a tree somewhere.
