My company just did another run of layoffs. Unfortunately, interns didn’t make the cut this time. ☹ So if anyone knows of an engineering internship, let me know. ---

When they laid us off we all gathered in a large open area. He read the list of the guys who had to go to the cafeteria to get laid off. All of us went down and got a talk from the foreman and then went to clean out our lockers. No security, no cops, no problems. ---

I honestly don’t feel my job is safe at the place I recently was hired at but they have continued to hire more people after me for the same job even though all the veteran employees are saying things are slowing down. ---

_to those who don’t know, I work for FP_ A strong majority of the cuts went to old folks that were very near retirement. Today was no where near the same as the layoff from November…that day was bad. Every one of them that I had spoken with were happier than shit with the packages they received. ---
