No. 4L60 and 700r4 are the same. If it has an E after it, then its a 4L60E and its electronically controlled. No TV cable then.

No E, it’s a '93 F-body with the 3.4 v6.

I know that the cable and all looks just like a 700r4.

Same as 700R4 then. Sounds like your TV cable is malajusted as well.

Read part 1 above, it details the proper GM setup procedure for a stock TV cable.

Well I dorve the hell out mine today. I firgured I never messed with it how could it be wrong. Right?

Well after putting about 50 miles on it, everything seems normal to me. It still has a hard shift from first to second, but everything else seems just like I would think it would be. So I’m saying the hell with it, whatever happens hapeens. F it…
