so I don’t really _need_ to unload this. It’s more fun to drive than watching a group of monkeys fuck a squirrel sans lube. Anyways, found exactly what I want- black 4-door 1.8t mk4 golf. So, if anybody is or knows somebody that might want this thing, lemme know. $3500. Seems a shame since most of you knew what I started with to get this , but value is value. Taken from PO’s post: body specs: solid chassis 1984 jetta 4dr bbs lip gutted with 6pt. full halo 1.75" DOM SCCA IT spec cage with nascar door bars _ **no log book** _ extended strut towers and 2.5" drop plates in rear welded to axle no door glass 1 piece aluminum race seat driver, stock passanger seat eurosport “X” frame lower support engine: mk2 1.8 8v bored to 82.5mm with ABA pistons k26 turbo with audi 5000 wastegate and manifold stainless 2.5" downpipe custom made MSII v3.0 with direct coil control no laptop but will give jump drive with all MSQ’s air to water intercooler running 20psi trans has 80% diif kit suspension H&R sport springs bilstien sports front, kyb gas adjust rear hankook ventus tires on MSW wheels poly everything 10.1 brakes up front with rear discs this car runs and drives great could use a little more tuning but whomps on cars none the less, was built as a learning vehicle for road corses but do to lack of funds has to be postponed. the cage was TIG welded and built off of the SCCA GCR for IT specs but the motor in the car disqualifies it from competeing. i did all of the work on this car my self but i dont have many reciepts however you can verify everyhting on the car. the car is street legal minus wipers and turn signals, it has headlights and brake lights. the car needs an exhaust to be built for it and either Lexan or stock glass put back in. There it is in a nutshell. Pass the word along. Or trade me something fun. What-ev. This can be more or less road legal in a few hours of work. I have a black mk1 dash for this out of the vehicle. Current trunk is fiberglass (not pretty, but insanely light and does the job. held in with hood pins.) I have the factory metal trunk as well. ---

For those interested, yes that’s the air to water intercooler in the firewall. Pump and plumbing for the intercooler are located in the passenger footwell area, and are easily accessed. Car currently has a passenger seat with second multi-point harness. Entertaining vw/audi/bmw/porsche trades, as well as motorcycles. ---

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. No clue, honestly. I wish I could take credit for this one, because they car has been put together pretty well, but unfortunately I didn’t build it. Received it in trade for a porsche I had. There’s a lot of room left for more power. Boost is turned down at the moment, and as I mentioned before, needs some more tuning. Although I did take it for a quick rip one night recently when it was much colder outside, and well… :clap It was fun. ---
