well since im forever trying to selling ever car i ever owned. i must say , “im keeping this one”. well since picking up the car as a bare shell, i throw it together to get it to the H-T meet this yr, but now since there going to be snow on the ground soon, im getting it ready for the winter build. The story behind the k20 was that it was posted up as a k20a2 ( type S) and so i made an offer than went to go pick it up. found out it was a k20a3 off a ep3 ( 04 civic si) and he just didnt know what he had. i low balled him for making me drive out and renting a truck to get it. now im stuck with it. honestly, im not aiming for any numbers, but how fun the car would be to have, drive, own. as of right now my budget is 3k, that really how much its going to cost to get the motor in. and whenever i could find another 3k somewhere its most likly going to be for some type of boost. ---

yea im debating of sanding it down and paint it for just leave it and paint over it. sand it down is going to be a pain in the ass ---

just picked up the rsx shifter box and linkage. ![http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/6528/pa260113.jpg](http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/6528/pa260113.jpg) still debating on selling the box and avoid cutting a hole by buying Hybrid racing shifter box. reason becuase its just a bolt in. im just afraid after time. the box will just brake becuase its plastic and rust will start along the shifter where you cut into. i give you props for not losing it on the kid who sold you the motor. if i was going to pick up what i thought was an a2 and it was an a3 and i wasted time and money doing so, i would be pissed. how far did you travel? how much did he sell it for? either way, cool project. ---

ya that a3 is a big difference than the a2, and i wouldnt waste your time boosting it imo how much did you pay for the whole swap 600? ---

Motor came from me it came with motor tranny lsd motorsports clutch etc for a whooping $80 complete swap it was running when fine when I took it out besides needing a waterpump. motor is a d15b2 mpi converted. ---

^^ your D series motor was for my other crx. the k20a3 was only about 1.5hr drive but i got it down to a 1k. included a few other goodies. ---
