# 89 volvo wagon 740

i found one up here where i live and it is a turbo deisel, 170kmi, fully loaded and what not, might be a good deal but does anyone know if they are full out piles? of not too shabby. ive always wanted to have one lowered on some crazy offset wheels, anyfeed back (and or flaming is ok.) Oh and if you have pics it would be better.

ahhh i drove by it quick and took a look it said turbo deisel called the guy who seems like 90yrs old i told him i would take a better look. so either way, gas turbo desiel any input?

Well,its a Volvo and they usually don’t require too much $$ as far as maintenance (older ones anyway).Mine has been great,4cyls are quite simple.
I’d ask what kind of upkeep has been done,probably has some decent miles racked up.T-Belt,water pump,turbo…etc.

yes they did…

not overly effective at anything, though… as they get around 25mpg… and slow as dirt… you would be much better finding a TDI… parts or more plentifull and 40-45 mpg
but thats just my 2cents

Does that say Turbo Diesel? I think it’s just a 6 cylinder NA diesel, and I’m pretty sure it’s a 245, not a 740.
