It’s a repost and was in Hot Rod too. Even Hot Rod called the car into question. It’s a lot of high quality work, no doubt. The engineering just to make it happen is amazing. But why!?! A single or twin turbo GEN III will make more power. And what a nightmare to wrench on. And it really doesn’t even look nice IMHO. I guess it’s the new version of the “Dare to be Different” sect of car building. Before you just took a weird vehicle, or at least one not traditionally Hot Rodded and built it along the lines of a normal build. Now that that’s even played out you take a very traditional platform (it doesn’t get much more traditional than a tri-five Chevy) and do something unprecidented with it.
In the end it’s just a waste of $ and effort if you ask me. I’ve seen much more impressive shoe-box builds.
