# 90 GTR Build up!! Soon to be sexy!

Well this car actually belongs to my Dad. I wanted him to buy a car to make some money last year but the RB26 had a tuned ECU and my older brother and my Dad took it for a spin and Im pretty sure some pistons were melted. I should know later tomarow when I rip apart the engine. Anywho its been 11 months just sitting in the drive way and its about time for a rebuild. I will be doing atleast 2 RB26 builds this month going into next month aswell. But this GTR should be a very very amazing GTR!
Engine Mod’s: More will come I am sure.
-R34 N1 Oil Pump
-Forgies “Not sure what ones at this moment
-ACL berrings
-Crank welded to fit N1 Pump " 1.5mm est more than the R33/R34”
-New seals, gaskets, waterpump, tensioner, idler and pitwork belts.
-Metal head gasket
-Std Turbo’s for now
-Custom EPROM
-Custom Downpipe
-Strut tower oil cooler by coolent!
-Trust FMIC with HKS Hard piping kit
-HKS air pods
-Oil filter relocation kit
-Greddy Profec EBC
-Greddy boost gauge
More things are getting done as the build procedes. Im building this engine to be able to hold up to 500hp with no problems. All will be needed will be biger turbo(s) and injectors and a tune and she will be ready to rock and roll. I will also be using std cams at this moment but I will have the head on the flow bench smoothing out the ports!
Car Modifications:
-Nismo GTR front bumper and skirts
-Volk wheels DNA GP rubber
-HKS ADJ coilovers
-JIC T/C rods
-Cusco rear strut tower bar
-9pt roll cage
-AP racing big brake kit with larger aftermarket rotors
-CD MP3 Player with amp and speakers. Sounds pimp!
I think thats about it for now but again more things will surly be added.

Here is a picture of the R34 N1 oil pump. You can tell the differences by how the spring has a lower diafram and by the extra screw in the middle for a stronger pump and by ofcourse the oil drive being full… Duh. Now the R33/R34 crank doesnt even fill this whole drive. I have seen them in person and they still have about an extra 1.5mm to the end of the drive on the pump so nissan never really did fix the problem. I have seen R33 RB25 spin pumps at the drift events in Japan so I know the only way to fix this problem is to have it either welded and then CNC mechined or to have a JUN oil collor slipped on. Though people think the JUN oil coller just slips on no worries but the crank needs to be cooled down and the collor heated up to have a press fit and this may even cause the crank to warp causing you to re-turn the crank so its not as easy as everyone thinks. I will be welding the cranks on all my RB engines I do full builds right here in Lethbridge.

there is soo many crazy ones they make for r32 and not S13 it sucks …this one has a cooling system in it on Allens car …
I noticed that AS and Kansai strut bars are gigantic as well as some others and they are a single piece so they are actually stronger with no pivot points

A solid welded bar will always work better then one with pivot points. I have been tossing around the idea of starting to build parts in my free time… I am sure I could build for any application, I would just need a car to take some measurements off.

wel I got her all apert today. I took a pic of the factory oil pump to show you the out side differences and later I will take both them apart and show you by how much the N1 is larger. P.S It is a MUST to locktight all the screws in a oil pump on any RB. The screws always come undone and the pump can fall apart inside the engine. Every pump ive pulled in RB25/26 and RB30 I could unscrew the screws by hand and Ive herd many stories from other RB builders about them falling apart. Just my 2 cents! Enjoy new pictures. This is what hampnes when you have shit gas on a JDM tunned ECU. Everyone with a GTR or any nissan engine for that matter please retart your timming so you dont do this!!!
p.s. all 6 pistons were cracked from knock and rings were shattered. This hampned in all of 2 seconds at high RPM with a spirt of shit gas.
