# 90 or 91-93 240sx?

which one is better? i heard the only difference is the bumpers. anything else? what are the pros and cons for having one or the other. thanks in advance

Cosmetically speaking the front bumper was updated as you mentioned and it got new wheels…engine-wise the 91+ models have the DOHC engine. (+15hp) This engine is generally preferred in almost any case.

:lol: u’d be surprised what the SOHC does. there is hardly a difference at all. If you want to drop numbers, DOHC runs 16.1, SOHC 16.2 in the 1/4.

As for front bumper, yes many like the newer style. Also the 89-90’s don’t come stock with VLSD.

However, if you find a mint 89-90, I would not discard the chance.

do a search, within 5 mins, you’ll know every difference between the two.
