# 91 305 engine ?

Sorry to bring up such an old thread, but how far do these need “eged out” to work?

Is there any issuses if its a stock cast intake?

I’m now in the same boat. I got a 355 sitting the garage, with newer sytle heads, and a few older style intakes sitting around. My truck needs an engine, and I hate to drop $150.00 for an intake, for a truck thats only worth $50.00 in the first place. And I’m just not up for buying another truck right before hunting season/winter. Spring comes, so will a new truck.
