With the amount of parts and work required to fix this mess youre much better off buying a cleaner car. let me know when u find a local hatch thats running and not toatlly rusted out for that price. where is your sense of adventure? the bumpers were junk even if they were in good shape look at them. fenders are cheap. you dont know if the quarters are bondo. im used to buying something junk bound and rebuild it. as far as paint who cares if you love the car when its where you want it then paint it. you are right if you have the cash to buy a new car then your better off but for the 16 yearold kid that just needs a project. ---

Believe me Ive seen better cars go to the crusher. A '92 Civic isnt worth a whole lot so Im sure you can find a decent one for around the same price.
