Cross posting from CL for my buddy… **this is not my car**
I totally stripped and re-did the harness (some with Harvboi05 last summer). Everything has been soldered and heat-shrunk. Has a few parts from Bing on it as well.
## His ad:
The car is from the south. NO RUST AT ALL.
125k on the body. Starts and runs good. Very solid car with lots of potential.
SR20DET red top
Precision 5557 turbo with less than 2000 miles
RS enthalpy tune
AEM Wideband, not AEM oil and boost gauges.
Custom top mount exhaust manifold
Custom 3 inch exhaust
Greddy style polished intake manifold
Greddy FMIC
Greddy type rs BOV
Koyo aluminum radiator
New silicone radiator hoses
Electric cooling fan with adjustable thermostat
Z32 MAF
Deatsch Werks 555 injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Greddy pulleys
300zx fuel filter
Very solid motor mounts with polyurethane bushings
New OEM valve cover gasket
New OEM rear main seal
AEM 6 puck clutch
New slave cylinder
Stainless clutch line
Optima battery relocated to trunk
All new belts and hoses
Tein springs
KYB adjustable shocks
17 inch wheels with new tread
Welded rear differential
Drilled and slotted rotors (not installed)
Stainless Brake lines (not installed)
The Bad.
Needs power steering rack.

related note from this thread on roclife: I actually had this motor in my 240sx back in '04 when it was first imported then I sold it in 06. I bought my 240 back two owners later, parted that rot box out and he bought this motor from me. Still running strong!

I also kind of wanted to start my project from near-scratch…not with somebody else’s work done to it already… know what I mean?

on the serious though, i have been thinking of getting a cleaner coupe chassis to swap my running gear into so that i could drive it daily. so if this guy does end up in a pinch in the spring let me know… in for lowballs.
have him take under body pics

correct! buying a project is the way to save money. add up all the parts (and labor) for new stuff and easily double the price (clean 240sx plus sr motor set is 5k all day long)

I understand that, but I dont necessarily want a car that was somebody else’s toy and personalized to them…plus I want a hatch… IDk I’ll sit on it. I dont feel like blowing that money now I’m still in school…maybe if its still around mid summer I’ll see.

bing, im getting rid of my coupe and it has the cleanest underbody around for sure, georgia car until 07 then driven 2 summers up here. lmk if youre interested
