A friend of mine is looking to get one with 75k miles for $2000. The body is in great shape, the 4 wheel drive works and it drives fine. Is there anything to look for to tell if this is indeed a good deal or not? ---

Tranny FTL. Common enough problem to consider. Otherwise, they are about as solid as any ford truck from that generation.
