It cut substantial weight out of the car actually. I dont see how having the engine bay look good makes it a show car though? It has 3" of caked on rubber on the rear bumper for christs sake :lol ---

How did welding holes shut and using body filler make it lighter? If I pressure washed my engine bay I think it would look fine. I just never bothered to do it with the motor out. ---

I was doing the full tubular front suspension anyways, and instead of just putting that in and having everything else look like shit, I decided to do it the right way and make it look good. Now, I feel better about the engine bay, VW guys will blow me, and it adds value to the car if I were to ever sell it. ---

PJB- he really cleaned up the engine bay to make working on it a little easier. i mean christ we all no how many times that tranny goes in and out in one season. lol. i dont see how any one could not like that though? no mess, all the extra stuff is deleted, and it looks nice. doesnt mean its a show car. it means that when he decides to work on it its not all messy and disgusting. looks good adam. two things to change now tho, the blue oval on the front. and the tranny. im telling you drop a turbo 400 in there and youll never need to worry again. ---

The TH400 is WAYY too heavy, and a fucking slushbox, so no. And a 4L80E, are you kidding? Id buy a built Lentech AOD-E that would handle 1000hp before either one of those. ---

He also has a large blower. Im not putting a TH400 in my car just like you wont drive, look at, clean, sell, or part out your car. So shut it!! ---

the th400 isnt that heavy ,prolly as much as the aode ya just yanked .buttttt after ya build that ya coulda did yours over right ---
