# '96 Civic Hx

\*For trade only, 1996 Civic Hx.
Looking to trade for a comparable 92-00 Civic Sedan or 90-93 Accords, the closer to stock the better.
-5spd only, No Autos.
-No half done project, rot boxes.
-Green 96-2000 Civic sedans need not apply. (I hate beige interior).
1996 Civic Hx 5spd.
147k
-Front brakes done last summer
-Ball joint and alignment done this year
-Does not leak or burn oil
-Will come on 14" steel wheels
-Fog lights not included
Runs perfect, car needs nothing. Rust is not typical for here, fairly minimal around the rear 1/4’s. Is rusted through inside the fuel door.
I drive it daily to work, getting around 38-41 mpg.

trading for a sedan seems weird. i feel like he’s better off selling it outright and then buying a sedan.

How is it weird?
I don’t NEED to get rid of the car.
I’d prefer a 4dr for the convenience of pulling a car seat in and out.
Prefer trade so I don’t have to be without a car then go through the time consuming hassle and task of finding a decently clean, mechanically sound, reliable and comparable replacement.

We understand what you want, but finding someone with a decently clean, mechanically sound, reliable and comparable replacement that also wants your car is going to be more work than selling yours and finding one for yourself.

Actually no.
Selling mine outright without an immediate replacement is more work and bigger inconvenience.
I’m not in dire need, I don’t have to get rid of this car, it would just be nice to have a sedan, that’s all.
While I’m looking for one to either buy outright or someone who can trade, I’m never out a car and always have my own reliable transportation and never stuck without a vehicle (which I can’t be).
