# 98 caddy sts- oem bose 12" sub power capacity?

just happened across one of these & planning on installing it … anybody have any idea where I could find power handling specs? I googled it to death & havent found anything yet

Probably not very much. Maybe 200 watts and that would be pushing it.

think so? I was figuring even less than that ~100rms max, it was mounted in the back deck free-air into the trunk
I’d still really like to have an official figure tho just to be safe
wonder if bose has some snky tech number

so upon closer inspection the sub measures 0.6 ohms… what the hell kind of amp could i even use to drive it besides the amp out of the car?
