It would be fun to beat on it for a year then dump it.
frame damage and maintenance is scary, but you might not run into too much crap in a year or so.

I’de rather keep it as a mostly street car, the highway pulls and backroad cruising would be too much fun to dedicate it to the track.

if it’s really been driven 90k since the damage then it’s probably ok…

True but, at $31,000 for this car resale should not be a big issue in the future. 911 turbos only get so cheap.
If you buy one for $60,000 you will lose $30,000 in resale eventually so unless this car is eventually worth $0…

no, i watched that was no reserve a while back… it was an 02 with 35k on it and a new clutch and it only went for 35.6k…
they took a hit with the new 997 turbos coming out, and the recession

I have to say… I’m too pussy to really buy one… I’d take a regular C2 in a second… a lot less to go wrong.

I looked into it… and if you can turn a wrench they really arent THAT bad to own…
i talked to MPD and to Jay at Black forest about them, as well as looked on 6 speed online and rennlist (which to be honest is full of people who cant or choose not to work on their own cars)
and most of the issues can be fixed at home… but i wouldnt have it as an only car…
