# A couple of e36 M3s racing...well sort of

…the guy w/ the camera doesn’t have a chance…not sure what the details are on the cars…I assume the faster car probably has an Active Autowerks Turbo…

both turbo the one with the camera was about 400whp the other was over 600whp

I did read that the one with the camera was over 400rwhp…but didn’t know if that was true or not…since the other one was so much faster…it’s pretty rare to see a 600HP M3…

not sure about the e36, but i know the e46 is pretty much maxed from the factory. Squeezing HP from it, is like getting blood from a turnip.

…i just had to work on an active autowerks m3 yesterday. Freaking piece of junk was detonating on 11psi with sunoco 94 in it. Made the computer shit itself…

Yup…not much room. There’s not much you can do with only a 3.2L I6 that’s already putting out over 100HP/L. Cams, full exhuast, software & intake might get you to 315rwhp from around 285rwhp. Evosport just released a supercharger that is supposed to bump the hp to 600 at the crank…but for $21K…no thanks.
