Do you really think having guns turns them into a well trained army? This isn’t the American revolutionary war where you have guns as a lifestyle as well as terrain (and stupid British war tactics) to be successful. You’d be surprised what people are capable of when it comes to protecting their families. Combined with the fact Hitler’s armies were expanding into unfamiliar territory and I’m confident in saying they would have made a different. Just look over at Iraq.
