out of my stock 17" Chrome 10 spokes and the 17 x 11 TTM wheels, my current wheels on my car are lighter then those. I couldnt believe how light they actually were.
are you weighing your wheel with tire, or without?

Without. Tire weights are usually listed on the manufacturer’s website. The tires I’d be using on those wheels (Bridgestone Potenza RE-11… The only tire I’ll ever use for a spring/summer/fall set) are 32lbs each. Pretty nutty that the tire weighs almost 2x the wheel does.

first off, the stock chrome SLP’s are 17"s. My drag radials are 18"s.
2nd, I cant find chrome slp’s to save my life. I have silver SLP’s being offered to trade for my current wheel (4 different sets of them), but no chromes…and SLP doesnt make them anyways. there is a company selling OEM chrome 10 spokes on ebay for over 2k…no thanks.

they will look better then ur current set up, but everyone throughs corvette wheels on f-bodys, u will be no more different then your white w black wheel set up. wheel set ups are very very hard to be different these days because everything has been done, any color, been done. just do what makes you happy and stop trying to be different. some people end up with a different look because it is what their personality put out there but when it’s their personality you can tell and it makes it cool, when they are just trying to be different they usually never pull it off when the smoothness that the other person will.

they arent ebay rims. They are OE wheels. They are a sponser on LS1tech.

Call me oldschool,noob, whatever… but the problem is noone can pick a good offset on Camaros.
These look good:
I like the standard SS? wheels
Get some wide ones and be done with it.
I also like Centerlines a lot on domestics, here’s my old truck. FUCK I should have never sold that.

Those on the camaro are the ZR1 wheels…they came stock on most SS’s…
they are also the same width of the wheels I posted in this thread.
I understand the whole cheap wheel thing, but thats one of my pet peeves. I dont spend alot of money on wheels simply because wheels go through a every day rough beating from driving and there is no protecting that.

I dunno if it’s just me, but just about all chromed wheels look like they’re eBay wheels. Or it’s just because the biggest fans of chrome tend to be the… uhh… urbanites.

I agree with ya Cossey, chromie’s always remind me of like some big ol’ 24’s on like a tahoe.
Urbanites!! lol ya they def brought chrome down a notch.
and to sssmmoookin there not a bad looking wheel. hope your happy with them, that’s all that matters.
