That is what I fondly refer to as a HIB condition. Hole In Block. I might have made an Accord engine experience HIB. Perhaps the engine was already on it’s way out but driving around with no hood installed through the woods at ‘break-neck’ speed while getting airborne due to a rathar large bump in the ‘road’ forced hot oil out the side of the block onto the alternator. The engine was no longer an _Internal_ Combustion Engine. It had converted itself into a dual-mode engine.
